PSA - The City of La Vernia water customers are now in Stage 1 Water Restrictions.

Stage 1 – MILD Water Shortage Conditions

1. Goal: Achieve a voluntary ten percent (10%) reduction in daily water demand.

2. Supply Management Measures: The Director of Public Works shall be responsible for overseeing the reduction or discontinued flushing of water mains, activation and use of an alternative supply source(s), use of reclaimed water for non-potable purposes, and blending of alternate sources.

3. Voluntary Water Use Restrictions for Reducing Demand: Water customers are requested to voluntarily limit the irrigation of landscaped areas to Sundays and Thursdays for customers with a street address ending in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6 ) and Saturdays and Wednesdays for water customers with a street address ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9) and to irrigate landscapes only between the hours of midnight and 10:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. to midnight on designated watering days.

4. All operations of the City of La Vernia shall adhere to water use restrictions prescribed for Stage 1 of the Plan.

5. Water customers are requested to practice water conservation and to minimize or discontinue water use for non-essential purposes

Utility Bill Payment Options
There are a few different ways to remit payment for your utility bill. Check the list below and find the way that works the best for you. 

Online:
Online payment can be made at https://payclix.com/log_in.cfm (All payments made this way will NOT be charged a service fee)

In Person:

  • Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Payments can be made by cash, check, money order or credit card (PayClix)

After Hours:
Night drop box is located on the side of the building (Bluebonnet/FM 775 side). Please enclose utility stub with check. (Note: The city is NOT responsible for cash placed in the night drops with your utility stub. 

Other Options:

  • Auto pay using ACH Drafting (Authorization for Direct Debit Payment Form must be submitted w/ an attached voided check. Form can be found in supporting documents above.
  • Auto pay using PayClix (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express) Please note: Recurring credit card payments are processed on the 14th of each month
  • Online bill pay through a bank or credit union, if offered at your financial institution
